Brothers,

As we are all painfully aware, the Eta Lambda chapter had been suspended.  At this point, few initiated Sigma Chi brothers are undergraduates this upcoming semester.

While it may seem a long way off, it is possible that we can recharter the chapter as soon as the Fall Semester of 2023.  As a chapter, we need to consider where and what type of housing the Eta Lambda Chapter can obtain now, not once the International Chapter and Virginia Tech sanction the Eta Lambda Chapter.

During it’s summer meeting the current House Corporation voted to send this appeal to the brotherhood.

Simply stated, we need you to help plan and strategize what the best options will be for any future housing of an active chapter.  We welcome all your support and opinions.  And certainly Sweethearts, Lil Sigs, and wives that may be interested.  We will need expertise and support in helping to navigate through various real estate options, banking/funding those options, and looking at market availability.

At this time, we’d ask your assistance and comments/thoughts on the subject?  Would you be willing to be part of the various committees, that ultimately will be needed?   We’d ask that you simply send an email to the chapter account sigmachivt@gmail.com    Note those interested that send an email will be asked to attend a virtual introductory  meeting.  It is likely to be conducted during a weeknight (EDT) in September.
