“In 2012 when Virginia Tech celebrated the 25th anniversary of Bill Roth and Mike Burnop joining forces in the broadcast booth, First & Main hosted a fundraising reception to honor the anniversary and raise funds for Ellen Burnop/Lynda Roth Scholarship at Virginia Tech. The event was an enormous success.
With Bill & Mike rejoining forces for the 2022 season, the folks at First & Main have decided to do it again so and are pulling together an event this Friday before Saturday’s Miami game.
David and Aivey Street hope you will join them as they host a reception celebrating these two Virginia Tech legends!
Of course, Bill and Mike promise to regale us with stories of their most memorable moments; and we will again be raising funds for their scholarship as well as the Virginia Tech Sports Media and Analytics Program.
As a bonus, 2022 is also the 15th anniversary of the release of the documentary HOKIE NATION – so the producers of this film will be on hand, and we will have the film playing during the reception.
