The brothers of Sigma Chi invite you to attend any of our upcoming rush events to learn more about overall Greek life and the Sigma Chi experience.  Rush is a chance to explore what fraternity life has to offer, both socially and as a brotherhood.  At Sigma Chi, you will find lasting friendships, a strong social reputation, heavy community involvement, and athletic dominance.  Above all else, however, you will find a brotherhood connected by deep and enduring friendships.  Rush is a great opportunity to see what we are about and to see if Sigma Chi is an appropriate fit for you and the rest of your college experience.  Let us encourage you to ask around, attend different rush events, and then give Sigma Chi a chance to make your decision easy.  We look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy your rush experience.  Please like us on Facebook or contact the recruitment chairs for more information concerning Sigma Chi or the overall recruitment process.

Why Sigma Chi?

Virginia Tech’s Eta Lambda chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity dates back to 1971 and has grown to over 100 active members.  Nationally, Sigma Chi has one of the strongest groups of active alumni who excel in every facet of life and continue to donate their time and experience to help the development of each and every brother in mind, body, and spirit.

Our chapter’s members come from a very diverse set of backgrounds, and pursue a wide variety of interests and activities at Virginia Tech.  The Eta Lambda chapter boasts a strong brotherhood that promotes the growth of each and every individual, while bringing us together on a common ground.

We welcome those who are interested in finding out more about the fraternity and what Sigma Chi has to offer you throughout your collegiate experience.  Please don’t hesitate to contact either of the rush chairmen (located under “Officers”) with any questions you may have concerning Greek life, the rush process, or the Sigma Chi experience.
